High School

Vendeville graduated from Perry High School in 2010 where she was a diver, did gymnastics, ran track & field, and was a cheerleader. In diving, she was a Conference Champion (2010), a District Qualifier (2008, 2009, 2010), a State Qualifier (2010), and MVP (2010) under coach Jeff Arnold. In Track & Field, Vendeville was a Conference Champion in Pole Vault (2010), a Regional Qualifier in Long Jump (2009), and a State Qualifier in Pole Vault (2010). 

Vendeville also graduated with Honors, Suma Cum Laude. She was a member of National Honors Society, Key Club, Foreign Language Club, Art Club, and Student Council. 

Personal

Cara is the daughter of Barbara and Charles Vendeville. At Wittenberg, she has been on the Dean's List (2011, 2012), a member of Kappa Delta Pi Education Honorary, Pick n' Pen Honor Society, WUSEA Education Club, Wittenberg Football Cheerleader, and a sister of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority.

Vendeville is actively involved in the Springfield Promise Neighboorhood as a volunteer coordinator. She plans to become a teacher in an inner-city school district.
